Nicole Borrowdale
Office Manager, Registered Dental Assistant
Nicole grew up in Antelope, California. After graduating from High School, Nicole found her passion in the dental field and in 2007, she graduated from Sacramento City College with her Registered Dental Assisting degree. In October of 2010, Nicole married her high school sweetheart, Justin. In her free time, she enjoys running, shopping and spending quality time with her husband.
She joined Dr. Borrowdale’s staff in 2008 as his back office assistant and today enjoys her role as Office Manager. Nicole’s primary goal is to make sure that every patient has an enjoyable and comfortable experience in our office. Nicole deeply cares about Dr. Borrowdale’s office and is readily available to answer any questions or concerns patients may have. -
Kim Calvillo
Scheduling Coordinator
Kim grew up in Paradise, California where she met her husband Jeff and has been happily married since 1983. Kim joined Dr. Borrowdale’s team in 2010. What Kim enjoys most about her job are the people. She is committed to make sure your experience is a positive and pleasant one. She is eager to help answer any questions you may have regarding our office. In her spare time she enjoys running, golfing, shopping and most importantly spending time with her family.

Heather Winton
Registered Dental Assistant
Heather has lived in Folsom all her life and has watched Folsom grow. Heather graduated from Western Career College in 1997 where she received her Registered Dental Assisting degree. She enjoys working with people and making their dental experience more comfortable. Heather has been part of Dr. Borrowdale’s practice since 2010. In her spare time, Heather enjoys reading and cooking.

Emily Donald
Registered Dental Assistant
Emily grew up in Visalia, CA. Upon graduating high school, Emily moved to the Sacramento area and completed her dental assisting degree in 2009. Her gentle care and professional manner make any dental situation more comfortable. In her spare time she enjoys crafts, exercising, shopping and baking.

Anna Guerrero
Registered Dental Assistant
Anna was born and raised in Roseville, CA. She graduated from High Tech Institute in 2007 where she received her Registered Dental Assistant degree. Anna joined Dr. Borrowdale’s Practice in 2009. She enjoys playing tennis, bike riding and baking.

Susan Alexander
Registered Dental Hygienist
Although born in Connecticut, Susan has spent most of her life in the Sacramento/Folsom area. Before pursuing a career in the dental field, she worked as a Service Coordinator at Mercy General Hospital for 15 years. She then attended Sacramento City college and earned her degree in Dental Hygiene. Susan joined Dr. Borrowdale’s team in 1997 and finds her work fulfilling and rewarding. In her leisure time, she enjoys all outdoor activities, including snow skiing, hiking, gardening, traveling and rarely misses a Yoga class.

Nina Zygarewicz
Registered Dental Hygienist
Originally from Seattle, Washington Nina began working as a Dental Assistant in her junior year of High School. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene in 1980, Nina married shortly thereafter and moved to San Mateo, California where she began working as a Dental Hygienist in a Periodontal office and General Dentistry. After 12 years in San Mateo, Nina moved to Folsom area and joined Dr. Borrowdale’s practice, where she has been a part of the team since 1999. In her spare time Nina enjoys singing, traveling and cooking!

Kathy Sonico
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathy fell in love with the dental field as a young girl when she would go in for visits to their family dentist. Kathy pursued that love several years later and received her Registered Dental Hygiene degree from Cabrillo College in 1992. She has spent 20 years working as a hygienist with wonderful patients. In 2005, Kathy and her husband moved from Monterey, CA to El Dorado Hills, CA. Kathy started working for Dr. Borrowdale in 2009. “I love working for Dr. Borrowdale, his staff and helping care for all our wonderful patients!”

Matthew Newhouse
Registered Dental Hygienist
After graduating from San Joaquinn Valley College/Loma Linda University dental hygiene program, Matt moved to Portland, OR. Matt joined Dr. Borrowdale’s practice in 2009, and is an incredible asset to our team! Matt enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
